Massalin Particulares

We work with agriculture producers to raise awareness about water conservation and tackle the challenge of generating efficient solutions to improve the quality of this resource through the protection of springs. These projects to protect natural water sources involve simple systems that provide concrete solutions, both on an individual and group level. They make use of local resources such as labor, knowledge, and expertise, while also promoting environmental conservation. We have already protected over 150 springs, safeguarding their purity and preserving their ability to supply the surrounding community, thereby impacting over 200 producer families. These families directly benefit from the preservation of the springs, as safe and constant access to water allows them to develop and sustain their agricultural activities, strengthening food security and promoting economic prosperity in the region. The estimated volumetric benefit of this project is 22,708 m3/year.

TNC - Pepsico

We implemented measures to improve soil conditions in piedmont and mountain areas, preventing surface runoff. This benefits the local groundwater recharge, replenishes extraction volumes, and ensures the well-being and safety of the population. Our work in water protection and conservation has generated a volumetric benefit of 600,000 m3. Additionally, we have positively impacted over 400 students. Our work is not limited solely to the public sector, as we have also achieved valuable collaboration with the private sector and the third sector. The synergy between these sectors has allowed us to implement innovative and effective projects for comprehensive water protection and conservation.
